Wedding weekend at Borgo Argiano

In September, Carina and Chris celebrated an unforgettable wedding at the picturesque Villa Borgo Argiano in Tuscany. The celebration spanned three beautiful days, filled with a blend of Italian hospitality, breathtaking views, and unforgettable moments. The entire story was captured exclusively on 35mm film scans and a Super 8 Highlight Film.
ALL WHITE PIZZA PARTY
The festivities kicked off on the first day with a relaxed atmosphere, giving guests the chance to arrive and settle into this stunning setting. A refreshing wine tasting was the perfect way to start, allowing guests to enjoy some of the finest wines from the region. However, the highlight of the day was undoubtedly the All-White Pizza Party – a casual celebration where guests, dressed in white, could sample a wide variety of delicious pizza toppings. Live music set a lively mood and got everyone into the wedding spirit. It was the ideal beginning to the festive days that lay ahead.
THE WEDDING DAY
The wedding day began with the traditional ‘Getting Ready’ moments for the bride. Carina radiated in her beautiful wedding dress, surrounded by an elegant floral arrangement that not only captivated with its beauty but also offered a spectacular view of the Tuscan landscape. The breathtaking panorama provided the perfect backdrop for the emotional ceremony.
However, when it came time for the ceremony, the weather took an unexpected turn. Rain began to fall, forcing a brief interruption in the proceedings. But this did nothing to dampen the mood – the guests took shelter, and the party continued inside, where the band Everso had already begun playing. The music brought a lively energy, and as the rain subsided and the sun broke through, the ceremony was able to resume in magical light.
After the ceremony, the celebration moved straight to dinner, where the couple was greeted in a special way – with the Napkin Entrance. The evening continued with heartfelt speeches, wonderful conversations, and a relaxed atmosphere.
The highlight of the evening was, of course, the party! With a fantastic band providing music all night long, the celebration continued well into the early hours.
