Luisa and Ben celebrated their four-day wedding weekend in the beautiful Rheingau. For their wedding pictures, the couple wanted lots of candid moments and emotions in a timeless, elegant style. In addition to the digital photos, some analogue images were also included in the reportage.
Civil Wedding
The Wedding Weekend began on Thursday with an intimate civil ceremony with the inner circle. The ceremony took place in a castle, which provided the perfect backdrop for this special moment with its historical flair. In keeping with the “Spring Awakening” theme, the guests arrived in colourful dresses.
Welcome Party
On Friday, the remaining guests arrived to take part in the upcoming festivities. The evening started with an “Italian Welcome Dinner” in the middle of the vineyards, where pizza, limoncello and a variety of antipasti were served. The atmosphere was lively and relaxed as the guests got to know each other and got in the mood for the days ahead while enjoying good music and excellent food.
The wedding day
Saturday was the day of the big church wedding. With a black tie dress code, it was a fashion highlight. The groom wore a white dinner jacket and the bride an elegant dress by Galia Lahav and soft glam make-up by stylist Luisa Jakschies. An old Rolls Royce, a sign of the couple’s love of cars, served as the wedding car.
The reception took place at the Hotel Kronenschlösschen. After the champagne reception, the guests had a short break to freshen up for the evening and change into their evening wear. The groom swapped his white dinner jacket for a black velvet suit. The hall, decorated in pastel green and pink, glowed in candlelight and created an inviting atmosphere for the 5-course dinner that followed.
On Sunday, the wedding weekend was rounded off with a Bavarian brunch. In a relaxed atmosphere, the guests were able to review the events of the last few days and fortify themselves with typical Bavarian specialities before setting off on their journey home.
